AS Monaco star joins Liverpool

AS Monaco star, Fabinho has joined Liverpool in a deal worth about £40m. Fabinho was also a target of Europe elites clubs. Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United and Arsenal were rumored to be interested on securing his signature but Fabinho opted to move to Liverpool.

Fabinho, 25, plays as a defensive midfielder. Fabinho was formerly a right back but was later moved to midfield position because of his good passing range and positional play. Liverpool also have new midfielder joining them next season. Naby Keita will also be joining Reds next season. This midfield duo is certainly one to watch out for next season.

The Brazilian midfielder will complete his move to Merseyside officially on July 1. He is expected to replace outing midfielder Emre Can, who is likely to join Italian giants Juventus.
